Well I haven't been shooting as much as I like to, but thought I would see what everybody is shooting.
When I picked up my PSE Stinger a few years ago I started off shooting Easton Aluminim arrows. Bow shot well, but it just felt slow. I switched over to carbon and haven't looked back. I went with the Easton ST Axis N-Fused arrows and they shoot great and added a lot of speed. On the Chrono, I went from about I believe the 190 fps range to a consistent 229-230 fps with the carbon. This is coming out of the Whisker Biscuit so on a drop-away there may be a few more FPS involved.
The speed even impressed my Dad who was shooting the same aluminums on his Matthews DXT and he wound up switching over to the ST Axis N-Fused as well. We haven't put his bow on the chrono yet, but it is definitely much faster judging from how close we had to move the 20 pin to the 10. I like the 4" vanes for based on the old school stabilization thought, but my Dad is shooting the 2" blazers and seems to have no problem with stabilization.

im very similar similar. i was shooting easton alumiums for a while. they were alright, didnt rally have much to complain about. i forgot how good carbons felt and a friend gave me a few. I think they were wolverines. since that ive been shooting carbon pretty much all the time. I like Beman ICS now.
